yummyYou know this fruit? Its the avocado or buah lemak, buah susu in my place. Its now bearing flowers and pictures were taken during the fruit season. Its called the palta or alligator pear and is a tree native to many countries. Its nutritional values is 75% monounsaturated fat, more potassium than bananas, rich in B vitamins, vitamin E and vitamin K, scientific research states it has the highest fiber content of any fruit.

Avocado is an very delichios fruit. Where I live it is unfortunately to cold to grow it.

how long did it take for the tree to mula2 berbuah, lepas tanam?
i baru dapat benih avocado (abt 4 ft tall) a few mths back, tapi dari biji. so, lambat lagi la nak berbuah... :(

pokok ni baru juga berbuah few years back. Ambik masa juga nak berbuah.4-6 years macam tu..But I think if u jaga betul*betul, bagi organik fertilizer , I think boleh berbuah awal kot. yang ni terbiar ja, MIL and anak-anaknya yg tanam jadi sejarah nya tak berapa pasti..
