Cucumbers

These are some pictures of small cucumber plants which hubby planted, in fact its like lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama, meaning that he is the gardener but I'm the one gotten something from his doings. But then thats my way to appreciate someone right, ..well then back to our track, these little cucumbers swaying in the wind are one of the many plants he like to plant, mostly he prefers herbs.

Daun Pegaga

Daun pegaga or pennywort (Centella Asiatica/Hydrocotyle Asiaticais) is said to be good for the eyes and also purifying the blood. There are many types of pegaga, some are big and others with small leaves. It is also known as the arthritis herbs according to source. The squeezed juice of the leaves are also believed to cool down the body temperature. Rich with vitamin A, C and Iron, daun pegaga for certain culture is the "official" veggies for women who has just given birth during the period of healing the body.
The pennywort in my mum's little garden. I think its the Chinese Pennywort as the leaves are small.

Rambai

This is one of our local fruit namely buah rambai. Its botanist name is Baccaurea kunstieri . This fruit is not in my garden but just to highlight it as one of my local fruit here. Its taste is mostly sour, sometimes sour sweet.
