Spider Lily



This is a Spider Lily plant grows near the fence of our backyard. Its Scientific name is Hymenocallis Littoralis. The root is believed to treat wounds. It has large white flowers that look like a spider. It is about 2 feet high and is a native plant of South East Asia.

You know this fruit? Its the avocado or buah lemak, buah susu in my place. Its now bearing flowers and pictures were taken during the fruit season. Its called the palta or alligator pear and is a tree native to many countries. Its nutritional values is 75% monounsaturated fat, more potassium than bananas, rich in B vitamins, vitamin E and vitamin K, scientific research states it has the highest fiber content of any fruit.
I love making avocado's juice as it is so rich and creamy.
